Gary Cameron asked me to forward this to the S Yahoo groups. He describes
a new module design he is working on that he and I have been discussing
since the Blue Ridge Scalers met in North Carolina a few weeks ago - Earl

Subj: Wood modules and glue

I am currently building up four prototype aluminum model train modules.
These can be used for any scale and the decking can be plywood, foam or
any
other material.

The prototype units should be ready in about two weeks. I hope to loan
three of them out to either clubs or individuals to evaluate before
producing
additional units.

The modules are extremely strong and light weight. They are made from a
special extrusion design the has a "T" slot running the entire length.
This
slot is used to mount the legs and can be used for adding extensions,
installing skirting, etc.

I decided to go ahead with this concept after attending a meeting of the
Blue Ridge S Scalers in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

If anyone is interested in following the progress of these modules,
