I double head most of my trains.

I triple head (Three AM GP 7's) on my 18 hopper coal train.

All of my diesels are American Models and gave me no trouble, but I do tune
them up every once in awhile, especially when I hear a squeak.

I have a brass 10 wheeler, and several Rex Moguls and one Rex Pennsy
switcher, also one kit built Consy, but nothing in pure brass.

I have never teamed up several Steamers. I do double head two AM Train
Masters for hauling freight. I also have one AM RS 3 and two SHS SW 9
switchers to use for local duties and yard work.

All of my locomotives are manned with engineers.

One thing that has been going on at my house this week, is that I've
dedicated myself to working on the railroad and smoothing out problems,
mostly electrical. (I run DC with blocks.) I'm making progress, but still
have the "Honey Do" projects getting in the way. (Can't be helped!) I'm
presently cleaning track and hope to re-new scenery shortly.

I think about going DCC. I've been told that I can switch to DCC simply by
moving out the DC power packs and installing the DCC units. I doubt that, I
feel that I should gut out all the old wiring and reinstall new heavier
wiring.

My main project goal is to build models.

Merry Christmas to all!

Bill (Fraley)
