OK, I realize January is not upon us yet, BUT, plans have been made, PVMR's
BIGgest "S" layout moves tomorrow morning to layout "heaven", a HEATED
room in the Paradise Twp (Lancaster Co, PA) Office bldg for several weeks of
exhibition. The trains run now, both classic Flyer and A-M locos pulling
in temps closely matching those outdoors. THOMAS does not complain either
as well as the Bachmann/PHM trolley soldiers on in the cold. Some amount of
snow is promised us today and tomorrow, which could make the move
interesting, but we have moved in snow before, just takes longer.
I mention this because PVMR has teamed up with the Paradise TRI-Cen
Committee to show trains when most other layouts have gone to slumber for the
winter AND ALL of PVMR's layouts are currently "S".
Join us if you wish/can, Jan 15 & 16, 22 & 23, from 1 PM til 4:30 PM. We
have buttons to push, trains will run and a good time is expected to be had
by all.
