American S Scale downsizing

Having moved late last year to a 400 year old cottage – I now have a better
appreciation of the space I have available for storage and indoor model
railway layouts. Over the past 18 years I have collected a vast collection
of American S Scale – to say I have too much American S scale is an
understatement. I need to downsize.

Most of my collecting has had two themes – Wisconsin circa 1995 and mid
1950s ‘Southern States’ steam shortlines . Of the latter I had two themes a
shortline version of the Allegheny Midland in the Eastern Kentucky coal
fields or a Citrus carrier in central Florida. I’ve decided that the latter
would be more interesting to model – so I have a fair number of coal
hoppers that won’t find a home in Florida.

I have a list of approximately 70 freight cars + 4 diesel locos (including
Brass) that want to sell. If you want to see the list - please contact me
direct at

I expect to downsize some of my 1990s rolling stock sometime in the future.

I’m offering a 10% discount if you buy over £300 worth of freight cars
(locomotives excluded) in a single transaction and 20% discount for single
purchases of over £600. . Items are offered on a first come / first served
basis. All costs exclude postage.

Best regards
