Like you I had been on a search for 3 chimes forward horns for some of my diesels. They have been made but had to be robbed from other Overland locos I have. I just checked the BTS parts list. The 3 chime has the short bell to the rear. It would not take 2 minutes to perform a "hornectomy" and remove the short bell. Problem solved..
