My "highly trained" former auto mechanic once hooked up fog lights to the  
low beams (legal in PA) under the dash with "suitcase connectors".  Some  
time later, I drove 35 miles after  midnight with   NO  low  beam   headlights 
 because he chose  the easy route.  I don't use them.   Simply strip the 
wire back a  1/4" with the IDEAL Stripmaster, wind the riser around it, 
solder, insulate  & move on     Quick, simple, strong.
