I used to have an S gauge gondola in which I had installed a piece of HO track from end to end with the center held down a little, so that a steel ball placed at any point on that track would roll to the center. Then there were contact switches at each end, a battery, and a buzzer. If the car started or stopped too fast, the ball would roll to an end and set off the buzzer.
I was reminded of that car (it's around here somewhere) when I saw this video, forwarded via the railroadvehicles yahoo group. ----- Original Message ----- Subject: !railroadvehicles! cool old vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNylLs4eoPY&feature=channel Tom Hawley -- Lansing Mich [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
