I think the E7 is a dummy American Flyer PA mechanism with a Tom  Hodgson 
E7 shell.  Look at the trucks.  There are only 2 axles on each  truck even 
though the truck frames are made to look like there are 3.
 
I have never studied the Sharks much.  But my guess is that they  are 
Omnicon urethane units made available around 1994.  I am looking  at an ad for 
these on page 15 of the October 1994 S/Sn3 Buyers  Guide.
