Hi Bill;

Earl is getting one because Boston & Maine bought some cars from the Reading.

There are other potential uses for models with this roof, although most would 
be "stand-in" rather than an exact duplicate.

I suspect fitting this roof to the AM baggage or RPO car would be close to some 
PRR prototypes.

Vic Roseman had an excellent series of articles in RMC and the old Railmodel 
Journal on converting the AM heavyweight cars into Harriman style passenger 
cars and various MU cars (Reading, PRR, Illinois Central as I recall). He built 
new roofs from balsa wood, but these resin roofs would work, although not quite 
tall enough for real Harriman cars.
