Peter:
Great job on a difficult kit (not impossible but difficult for sure). I built a Seaboard RSC3 from the sister kit and applaud you for one upping me on the part about gluing the hoods and cab to the pewter frame. I elected to fit superstructure to frame with tabs and machine screws. On the matter of joining the parts I used Carr's lo temp solder - I would not advise that except for those with some experience building pewter - that technique is something I think our friends across the pond(s) have cornered the market on. On cautionary note: be extremely gentle with the model, the weight and thin cross section at the point where the pilots join the side frame is an invitation to bending. How do I know this..you guessed it. Will post some pics as time permits, but yours is first class. Chris J.
