Peter:

Great job on a difficult kit (not impossible but difficult for sure). I
built a Seaboard RSC3 from the sister kit and applaud you for one upping me
on the part about gluing the hoods and cab to the pewter frame. I elected to
fit superstructure to frame with tabs and machine screws.

On the matter of joining the parts I used Carr's lo temp solder - I would
not advise that except for those with some experience building pewter - that
technique is something I think our friends across the pond(s) have cornered
the market on. 

On cautionary note: be extremely gentle with the model, the weight and thin
cross section at the point where the pilots join the side frame is an
invitation to bending. How do I know this..you guessed it.
