Good morning. After reviewing last year's financial results for the 1:64
Modeling Guide magazine, it is obvious that some changes are needed.
Effective April 1, 2011:
1) The price of a 1-year subscription, Standard Rate US mail will increase to
$30.95.
If you have received a renewal invoice or receive one in the next two weeks,
please send in your payment right away to avoid the increase for another year.
If you are not a subscriber, subscribe now to get the current lower rate.
2) Effective with Volume 12, Issue 1, the cover prices will increase to $7.95
(USA); $9.95 Canada [US$]; and $11.95 All Other International. The discount
rate to dealers will remain the same--one of the most generous in the industry.
3) The Half-Year (2-issue) subscription will no longer be offered.
Current Half-Year subscribers will be given the option to convert to
Standard-Rate or 1st Class 1-year subscription.
4) All other subscription rates are unaffected.
In addition, effective immediately, I can no longer afford to send "courtesy
copies" to lapsed subscribers. If you sign back up after your subscription
lapses, you'll have to purchase the back issues you may have missed (if
available).
Also, effective immediately, the Classified Ads section is being eliminated
from the magazine.
These changes will help ensure that the magazine remains financially viable.
