Hi Pieter,
Thanks for the links for other things in CT.
I booked marked these websites, as I think they will not be open at the time of 
us traveling through CT.
But maybe a future summer trip to CT for trains and baseball.
The museums look neat, especially with the rides.

They have a nice museum in Danbury. If you are going East from there, there is 
another good one in Waterbury-Thomaston area, with a longer ride.

Other rail attractions are further south and/or east of the area.
