That is longer than I've been in S scale, or even thinking about it (I believe
the current status caught my attention
at a train show in north Texas five or six years ago when I discovered there
was quite a bit more available than
AF and a handful of kits).

The cars looked better than average construction, although not quite up to
brass import level, so I wondered
whether there had been any commercial components or kits involved. The results
do look good.
