Mike:
Don't bake the box car! As Bill says it will have a seriously detrimental effect on the shape. Some folks put the car under a light bulb in their paint both. However Scale Coat II plastic compatible paint does not generally need to be baked - just suspend the body in a dust free environment and let it dry completely for 24 to 36 hours. If all else fails read the instructions 10. Application of Scalecoat II is identical to Scalecoat I with the exception of the "baking" process. call or email Scale Coat http://www.weavermodels.com/page12.html very helpful. Chris J.
