Me too! I am getting starting on the structures phase of my layout, and 
I want to scratchbuild lots of details that I then want to cast. I'm 
still learning too.

I have used Alumilite's Quick-Set RTV Silicon Rubber. I got it at Hobby 
Lobby for around $30. I used it to make a bridge abutment mold. I then 
cast the actual abutments using Plaster of Paris. I was happy with the 
results.
