Over the weekend the Northern Ohio 'S' Scalers (NOSS) setup their 45 foot switching layout. This is a very large NMRA Mid-Central Region Div 5 show and this is the second year now that had the opportunity to setup our display. There were N scale, HO and AF Highrail layouts there also. Dealers from all over, OH, PA, NY and Canada. A lot of people came by and took pictures and videos. And of course the same old comment, "I didn't know there was this much available in S Scale". Followed by, "If I didn't have so much in HO, I would switch". And lastly, "If I was starting over, I would go to S Scale. It is the perfect size".
All in all, we were well received and possibly may get a few new members. I finally completed a new NOSS folder for the modules. The folder contains 20 photos of this past weekend and prior shows we have done. Page two contains four more photos titled, "In the beginning" showing a few photos while in the construction stages. I wish I had taken more along the way. Now that the modules are not setup, I plan on taking underside photos of the turnout linkage that Mike Lytle has set up for some of the turnouts. And especially, the single linkage that controls two turnouts. I'll post a message when photos are completed and added to this folder.
