While not "S" this is model RR related. A friend of my wife gave me what looks
like a home or kit built crossing signal with 2 flashing lights. It is about 7'
tall and runs on 110 Volts. This is the kind of thing you might put outside
your house when you were going to host a meeting or open house. It could also
be an attention getter @ a display @ a mrr show. The lights flashing is
controlled by a "winker" plug that is plugged into each light's feeder cord.
The problem is that the blinking of the lights is not synchronized but rather
one flashes faster than the other. I'm looking for a gizmo I can plug the power
cord into that will cause the lights to blink alternately like the real RR/road
signals do.
I have tried several electrical suppliers and hobby shops and they all say
"Hmmmm-sounds good but don't know where you would get such an item." The
closest I've come is an $ 18.00 item at a hobby shop that works on 12-18 volts
and I need 110. Surely somewhere ...
Help appreciated
