BILL:
This is probably the best source for cop cars. Also, Greenlight is one of the
more prolific manufacturers.

  Subject: {S-Scale List} Donut Shop & Decals

  All,

I just decaled the donut for my donut shop and now call it almost completed.
  http://www.lanestrains.com/Donut_Shop.jpg

I have had this kit for about 5 years with the full knowledge of what it
would be when it was done. It is named for 1 of my best friends - a retired
police officer.. I am now looking for pre 1955 police cars that hopefully do
not have a town marking on them. I will have to remove it if they do.

I found the decals on eBay. I am convinced that eBay has everything. Can you
believe they had a Moylan's Donuts decal in S Scale for sale?

It is an alphabet set made by Virnex Industries. I never heard of them
before, but I am sold now. They were a bit pricey though but are very nice -
very opaque and the decal film is the **exact** shape of the letters - even
more so than Microscale. The decals settled into the very rough texture of
the donut (which I swear is a copy cast of a real donut!) really well with
  just the Microscale solutions

I had to keep the whole thing "live" at once and push all the decals around
until I liked it. It was 1 of the most difficult decal jobs I have ever
done. It took me over an hour of prodding.

Who else is going to get a building named after them on my layout? You will
just have to wait and see. I have a few ideas already...

  Thank You,
  Bill Lane
