I threw caution to the wind today. Taking the advice of fellow list members that white is not a good color I mixed a year old exterior paint with the new interior mystery gallon I bought this week for $5.00. Luckily no explosions or molecular fission reactions occurred. I had about ¼ gallon of the exterior that was a deep black and the gallon of white to surprisingly get a bluish battleship gray. Nonetheless it is a great color for gray ballast to cover up. It has been 20 or so years since I painted new Homabed prior to installation. I think I used a brush then. A 3 wide roller was much better and faster. New track installation is inching ever closer & closer ..
