Tom: To clean flux requires;
rosin = alcohol
Acid = baking soda + water them rinse with water.

Both types of cleaning requires a stiff brush to help loosen any dried flux
residue.
I hope this helps.

Hi Everybody,

I'm wondering how most of you clean off flux residue after soldering.
Especially, the silver soldering flux.  I can't imagine most would follow
the manufacturer's instruction to the letter; there are a lot of hoops to
jump through.

So, what do you do?

Just curious,

Tom Stoltz
