Bob beat me "to the punch", so to speak. I received my latest copy of
RMC yesterday. I pretty much agree with his review. Some will not be
happy that the author has made the link to the American origins of S
with AF. True, those hobbyists converting from another scale could care
less about AF. Yet, I am convinced that a significant segment of AF
folks will make the transition to scale if they are educated to the
existence and possibilities of the scale side of the hobby. I am one of
those converts. Overall, I view this S promotional effort as a big plus
in a period that has seen a contraction of the model railroad hobby,
overall. I agree with Bob on one other thing in this brochure. Failure
to include the website addresses for SHS, AM and DPH is a major
omission.
