From: Alan Lambert Pieter, I got the point, I was just trying to be funny. I have seen a lot of interchange cars down here. Milwalkee railroad for one, that stands out. My hopper Fleet is mostly interchange. I only have 2 Santa-Fe the rest are What S-Helper had available,For a total of 20. I barely getum all on my 5x6 loop layout, but I have fun doing it. Thanks, Alan --- On Mon, 4/18/11, Pieter <[email protected]> wrote:

Every standard gauge railroad in North America interchanged with Seaboard, and PRR and NYC and ATSF. Cars, particulary box cars, moved pretty much freely around the country. Studies have shown that boxcars appeared on any through line pretty well in proportion to those cars in the total of cars in the ORER. Everyone needs PRR cars and NYC cars.
