All,

I made the frames for my control panels. What I thought was a good idea to
paint the frames and panels was not quite what I wanted. I painted
everything black with my airbrush and 3 bottle of Scalecoat! The panels
looked a bit "stripey". I am not overly qualified on rattle cans so I chose
the airbrush. Once I got everything in the basement it did not look not as
bad. However, I am pretty sure these are going to be "working" control
panels that will eventually be replaced. These are Masonite. I like
Plexiglas. It will be easier to change the track diagram on the panel with
the Masonite.

Here I am putting the frames and panels on.
http://www.lanestrains.com/Control_Panel_Frames.jpg As you can see it will
be a running track plan on the facia. All sections are 10" x 4 feet hinged
at the bottom.

I also made 2) 40 x 80 tables that will form an 80 x 80 fixture table for
making my corner modules. Everything will be braced and held in place while
the glue dries. More on that later..

Thank You,
Bill Lane
