As of now, we are only 13 cars short at retail and 17 cars short at
wholesale(retailers). This is far better than I thought. I'm buying 2 and
planning to trade one for some work on a diesel.
I hope 10 or 11 others will step up to plate. There's nothing new coming
from the China people for awhile. (Hopefully not too long, I'm having
withdrawal)
As Pieter Roos, who is more qualified than I on this matter, can tell you,
these cars appeared all over the country. During the harvest season I'm sure
they were seen on Corn Belt branchlines, and SAL cars went over Crawford's
Notch on the Maine Central. You don't even have to put all the detail on to
run the car(ask me how I know).
