Thanks for the reply Bill. I did try the goo gone and it would not soften the
Goo. The stuff was almost ten years old and I am sure that had something to do
with it.
I did end up using your suggestion and managed to carefully cut the speaker out
without damage to the shell or speaker. It only cost me three Exacto blades.
