This gondola does not use the Kadee coupler box. It has the brass craft gear - that was my innovation on the X29 and G26 before it. There is no shimming of the couplers in any direction. I have 2 of the Cryer Gray gondolas. I guess I am lucky that the couplers were correct. I must be in a parallel universe with Jim K. I have the same truck combination on my cars as well!
