I think this rail trail could use this book, as a trestle on this trail was
wiped out this year due to a tornado.

Some of you might find this useful. The original book is 450+ pages.

I found this book while looking up other stuff, something for railroad buffs:

http://tinyurl.com/44ocrf4

"Buildings and structures of American railroads: A reference book for railroad
managers, superintendents, master mechanics, engineers, architects, and
students" (1893)

It contains a lot of illustrations of later 19th Century structures that might
be of use to anyone modeling that time period.
Hope it helps,

Regards,
John Braungart
