Hi Peter --

Not to argue, but all I can say is that it came in a LWS box from LWS. It
was a resin kit. It could also be a PS-1, but I was under the impression
that all PS-1’s were welded, whereas the PS-0 was riveted, which this car
is. I am not the expert... In any case, it is an interesting car, and
now that I have it out, I will do my best to find underframe parts (on hand)
and get the details, paint and lettering done!

Have fun!

Nice model, but that's a PS-1, not a pre-war welded PS boxcar ("PS-0" in
model RR terms). The pre-war car had the pointed ribs of the PS "Car
builders" end, the same or very similar to the ends on the SAL B-7 boxcar on
its way from SMMW.

The car also looks more like a !@#$ Trainstuff model (cast in Epoxy resin"
rather than the LWS cars which were injection molded in a soapy styrene
plastic.
