Hi,
My name is Bill. I am trying to bring a new and apparently wanted item not previously available for sale by anyone to the S Scale market in less emails than a recent urethane boxcar kit. Unfortunately it looks like I will be a contender for that record as well. I purchased from the Stan Furmanak estate via Jeff Wilson an American Models gondola and 10 containers. The gondola has a balsa wood frame in it to secure the containers. 9 containers are urethane copies. 1 container is sheet styrene that could be used as a master pattern. However the styrene container is **slightly** different than the urethane copies - perhaps an earlier version of the urethane containers. I have no molds of any containers. Here are 2 quick points For anyone that doubts that any of the containers I bought are mine and free to do what I want with them, please contact me directly. I will come to your house and take your trains that you allegedly bought but are somehow not really yours as well. A cold hard fact - once I modify the styrene container that COULD be used as a master it absolutely loses all previous rights to the original creator. And you all wonder why NOTHING new is getting made in S Scale now. Imagine what a newbie would think if reading this debate. They would run for the hills. There is SO much more to this story I am ***trying my best*** to not comment on. Make no mistake. this project is going to proceed. Those that want containers from me will get them. And that is that.
