Well, don¹t write off O. Winston Link. Some of his images are absolutely
American icons. He did stuff with the technology of the day that is
difficult to accomplish with today¹s equipment. Then there was his eye for
the composition and moment, etc.

He was the Ansel Adams of rail photography.   It was fairly easy to pick out
his photos from a group of photos by several other photographers, only Bob
Hale had a style that was more easy to see.
