Hello,
My name is George and I live in Maine. I've been involved in model railroading
for as long as I can remember (I received my first Lionel train set for
Christmas when I was 6 months old). I've modeled in many scales over the years,
including HO, N, and O. I've always had an interest in narrow gauge, both
Colorado and logging roads. So now I'm planning a 2' x 13' shelf layout in S
/Sn3 with a D&RGW Chili line flavor. The module will very loosely depict Santa
Fe with the track coming down Guadalupe St. and connecting to the interchange
with the Santa Fe. I have a P-B-L K-28 but no Santa Fe locomotive yet. I'd
appreciate some guidance on a Santa Fe steam locomotive. Right now I'm
considering purchasing the Showcase Line 2-8-0.
Looking forward to modeling in S scale.
