Hi George; Welcome to the group!
I know Grandt Line has joint bars intended for code 100 rail in their On3 line that will work in S. Also check with Tomalco, as they have lots of track detail parts (as well as excellent flex track and a variety of turnouts). Dick Karnes had a wonderful article on detailing track in one of the S scale magazines some time ago, maybe someone can point you to it as I'm sure you would find it useful. I know at least two list members are in Maine, but how close to you I can't say. I hope one or both will contact you. Lots of S gaugers further south in New England, although S scale folks are always somewhat thin on the ground. Massachusetts has at least two active S groups with another one in Connecticut.
