As crazy as this sounds it is true... Some of you know I work for the Swiss Federal Railways, a.k.a. the SBB. One of my colleagues who runs the education arm of the outfit asked me if I knew of anyone who'd like to help run our so-called "Ausbildungsanlage" which translates roughly to "training center." There we have a way-too-cool railroad simulator. We have a ridiculously large building where trainees are taught to manage the various operating systems (signalling, etc.) often under duress. The staff gets angry if one calls it a 'model railroad' although, off-the-record, that's what it is, in HO-scale of course.
The jobs in Switzerland pay very well, but the catch is this: our national languages are French, German, Italian and Rhetoromanian. The first two one must speak fluently, the others are not required but certainly a plus. That rules out pretty much anyone I know from my S-scale community. I go days without using English, as one can sometimes infer from my posts. Well, anyway, here's the link. Just in case someone out there DOES speak at least two of the above languages! http://www.forum.hag-info.ch/index.php?page=Thread&postID=52550&highlight=muntelier#post52550 Best Regards from Bundesbärn, John ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
