Whoops......!! Dave, you are the second person to tell me you were not there.
I'll have to admit to being wrong.
The room was crowded with visitors and this fellow, who looked just like you,
waves at me from across the room and says "Hi Ed!" I look back at him and the
similarity to you was considerable and waved. We never got close enough to
actually converse. I sure thought it was you, but obviously it was your twin
brother or a clone from the medical research facility just up the street.
Sorry about that. My error. I should have known better since he was not
carrying a saxaphone. Maybe you will show up on Wednesday when the bus tour
sweeps through here. I have absolutely no idea who the other fellow was, but
he was sure friendly.
By the way, the bus tour has about three or four seats left and then it will be
sold out. I know Jamie Bothwell and at least one other Pennsy guy will be on
the tour and so I have arranged for a special private room just for the Pennsy
guys. It is in the back of the bus off to one side with a very unique round
seat inside. The door locks so that the NYC guys cannot enter. All the Pennsy
guys can gather there and converse in private luxury without having to mingle
with the lesser folks. I am sure this experience will be remembered for quite
some time.
Take care....Ed L.
