I'd be surprised if you find many; S scale scarcely existed before WWII--the 
time when printed card sides were common--and after the war decal lettering 
became
much more the standard.  Most vintage card sides were done in O scale with a 
smaller number in HO (early Varney had them, as did the cheapie Comet kits, and
even Mantua used them for their metal cars).
