This is what I have been doing for the past few days. I mounted my recently
acquired used chop saw and used miter fence to a 2 x 10.

There is 7 feet clear on the miter fence alone. The guide stop will make for
very accurate repetitive cuts. I did know the miter fence even existed until
seeing it on Craigslist. This is now 1 lean mean benchwork making machine. I
just have to sneak out into the garage early in the morning before it gets
too hot to cut the dados on the table saw.

I attached a shop vac to it. With it running there is virtually no loose
sawdust. Since I am in the basement it is air conditioned! I have to say
this may be the sweetest chop saw set up I have ever seen. Total investment
including the new vac today was about $150.00. The miter fence new goes for
$250.00!

The only down side is it weighs a ton! I mounted it on a 7' x 7' temporary
work table I made to assemble my straight and corner frames. There will be
sawdust and new frames made soon!
