I have been trying to get someone to make one of the 57" Jackson and Sharp coaches for years and finally gave up and made it myself. They were all over the world, I found an ex-Sierra Railroad one at the Sacramento museum. I wonder if there are enough people interested in these cars to get someone to make urethane castings from my patterns.
Great information on Jackson and Sharp on the Delaware State Archive website where hundreds of digital photos and drawings can be downloaded. http://cdm15323.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm4/results.php?CISOOP1=any&CISOFIELD1=CISOSEARCHALL&CISOROOT=/p15323coll6&CISOBOX1=Railroad Amazingly the beautiful On3 Grandtline trucks scale exactly to S Jackson and Sharp trucks. I cut down the backs of the sideframes for p64 wheels and added wood beam brakes. Willy --- In [email protected], "Roger Nulton" <roger.nulton@...> wrote: > > Beautiful model, William.
