Pieter,

The corn field I made was from product from Scenic Express.

The corn field is behind a outfield wall of S Helper Field. Sort of the Field
Of Dreams bit, but I have a wall between corn field and baseball field.

By the way, Bob Feller lived in Iowa on a corn farm. His parents did the same
thing as in the movie as the towns people thought they where nuts.

The product I used is a O scale corn, but it works in S.

It is not a cheap (price) product, but I wanted the best I could find, and it
was a one time expense like many things on a layout.

I do have a player among the stalks.

I have seen some corn fields made from Toothpicks with yellow frill on it, as
that did not look too bad.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: DeKalb Corn Field Signs

All;

I have to agree with Don, this is a very long thread much of which is way off
topic - the corn signs were interesting, I'd like to hear from Mike (or anyone
else) on modeling corn fields in S scale. I (and I suspect most others on the
list) now have heard all we care to about pastures vs. fields and cow corn vs.
horse corn...
