Silage corn (for chopping) can grow 10 - 12 feet tall. Growing up in MN I
never saw that, but it's grown in Western Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana, in
the irrigated districts.
Avg. Field corn here in MN is about 8' tall. Pioneer, and Dekalb still being
dominant, but quite a few others not far behind in popularity. AS I type I'm
wearing my Pioneer cap! lol
