Since George mentioned me as one of the Southern fans who might be
interested in a high nose version. I will chime in. I do have some interest
in
either a high-nose GP or SD (preferable) that could be decorated in
Southern's black tuxedo scheme which is almost completely missing in S scale.
We
have quite a few green locos, steam and diesel, in S but nothing black that
rings a bell with me in the black tuxedo scheme.

Still I cannot be counted on as a definite buyer because a lot depends on
the timing of availability and whatelse might be attracting my dollar
bills. Being a passenger fan, I would much rather be able to purchase an E6s
(top pick) or E7s which would work with Southern, L&N, or IC.

All,

I've e-mailed Jim King and he's told me the potential GP-38's will be
low-nosed. However if there is enough demand from us Southern and N&W types he
would consider a hi-nose add on. Don, hope you read this, and Earl and
Larry in W.TN. Curious, anyone in S model the N&W in the 60's or later?
I'm hoping their are some Wabash and Nickel Plate and P&WV modelers or
freelance people out there who would want a Hi-Nose. Hope I've got this right,
Jim, as I'm typing off memory.

George Courtney
