The prototype specific kits in HO haven't been a bargain these days either.

Let him go! If "S" modelers can't understand what a devastating blow Kader dealt the "S" world and be a little patient while it all gets sorted out then they need to move to another gauge. I've never heard anyone state they were in "S" because of the cheap prices so good riddance to him. A $69 kit is expensive no doubt, but I'd rather pay a little more and buy American.
