Koz:

Very sorry to hear of your layoff. Such times are typically a very
stressful time.

You are doing good to turn to something to occupy your mind with, such as
model railroading.

I once was "laid off" and could NOT find work in the oil drilling recession
enviorn at the time. In addition to job hunting, when alone at the house
(wife still had work) I would spend my time working on railroad models and
keeping my mind busy. It really did help.

Hopefully this will be a short term labor issue you're facing.

Group,
Good news and bad news.

Good news: I've completed 2 more PRS kits this week.
Bad news: A malfunctioning hand means I'm continuously having to fix
delicate parts that I break.

Good news: I have more time than ever to work on the layout.
Bad news: It's because I got layed off from work. Good thing I stockpiled
all those kits :o)

Since there's very little work around, I'm hoping to get a lot more done. I
won't let a day go by that I don't get something done no matter how small.
Life's an adventure.
