Tom, I have used the V&T underbody for several reefers at one time.
The underbody was an excellent product--the roof not so much!. The roof
was fairly heavy and with the urethanes of the time, all mine were warped.
The underbody's detail was excellent. I did glue mine to the standard
NE floor material to prevent any sags or warping. I then used the
standard wooden end blocks shortened a little to make my basic box.
Some of S Scenery's reefer kits used the V&T products. Unfortunately
Don them eliminated the wooden end blocks and the wooden subfloor,
resulting in somewhat weaker construction.
