At Bill ( Milestone) Winans suggestion, went to the website, and it is a good
looking car. My question is, and maybe Earl Henry know the answer is.
Since the NC&StL was taken over by the L&N in 1957, would any of these car
still have remained painted in the same NC&StL scheme at that time?

WOW, this car looks gorgeous. Finally an NC&StL R-T-R freight car
available in S.

KUDOS to someone, and my assumption is that it is Dave Blum and Greg
Klein.

Just when I was getting serious about thinning my collection. Now I have
to do some thinning to make room for these cars.

Bill Winans, thanks for guiding me to the website, which I had totally
forgotten about. Must be a "senior" thing.

Steve Johnson is a friend here in Nashville. Steve is the author of Vol.
1 and 2 for Morning Sun Books titled "L&N:Color Guide to Freight and
Passenger Equipment". He recently included a "ps" in an email to me that he was
involved as a consultant on an "S" model and this must be the project he
was referring to. He would be the perfect guy. Early in 2010 Steve helped
me and Bob McCarthy by providing photographs of these yellow striped boxcars
that resulted in The Supply Car, LLC offering decals for these cars. I
ordered 4 sets and have only completed one. Now I can simply purchase the
cars ready-to-roll.

Over and over I have heard guys say that the NC&StL yellow striped boxcars
would be a great seller in the South. Now we will find out.

This convention car can be of help in promoting the existence of the
Chattanooga Convention to guys in the South who don't know anything about the
NASG. I am excited.
