Thanks to EVERYONE that shared input on the "Musings" thread and the
"Brakewheels" thread.
The "Brakewheels" thread:
I now have brakewheels on the way that will fill the bill from Bill (with me
still?).
The "Musings" thread:
Lots of good input. Whereas I will ultimately be the one to make the
decision... I have always enjoyed disecting, n' slicing n' dicing my ideas
until I'm confident I've thought it through enough to justify its
implementation. Included is hearing others experiences/impressions, if I
have access to such input. Fortunately, through this list, I do have. I
detest doing something twice, or discovering something that I didn't think
through well enough. It's just the nature of this beast.
Decision: I am going forward with the KC&G idea in S scale. The decals I
ordered for same arrived yesterday, and they look like they will fill the
bill (here we go again) nicely. It will be fun to see their power take shape
in S scale alongside my prototype models.
Now, my immediate direction is continue with my Baldwin builds, along with
gettting serious about selling off some un-needed "other" scales so I can
put the money in my Hobby Fund. ('Cause I've got an SHS Undec NW2 and an
SHS Undec SW9 I want to shoot for!!)
