Welcome, Dave--while I have no intention of parting with most of my O scale
(still buying more, in fact), I have been acquiring S scale for the past year
and more.
I planned just a small switching operation with an SHS EMD or two and a couple
dozen cars, but things have gotten out of hand. I've even bought a few brass
cars and a gas-electric, although so far no brass locomotives except in Sn3. I
do have a BTS Ma&Pa 2-8-0 kit that I am waiting to build until I have more time
and
have cleared up the two dozen or so other projects on the workbench (including
a car kit for another list member), which is sort of an honorary brass.
