Sometimes you find weird things in weird places when you're doing weird
things... 'ya know? Weird.

Case in point:

I've been selling-off 3 rail stuff so that I can... uhh... "reallocate"...
yeah... that's the term... "reallocate" the funds into my S scale. Well...
it's always easier to ship model railroad stuff IF you have the original
boxes. And I do have the boxes for SOME of the 3 rail stuff.
Unfortunately, it's up in (loud chorus of scary music)... THE ATTIC. (Said
with a low voice w/echo.)

I hate that place. Hades hot in the summer, hard to get around (can't stand
up)... crawl here... dig there... cobwebs...dust... hate it. (Note to self:
When cooler weather hits, get EVERYTHING out of the attic, and either sell
it... or take it to the dump... BEFORE I'm too old to climb up into that
miserable place.)

BUT... greed and materialism will cause one to do drastic things. Thus,
there I was, crawling around in my attic to retreive some boxes so I can
ship off some more 3 rail and get more MOOLAH for S scale. (i.e. That greed
and materialism thing.)

WELL... as I was fumbling around... trying to reach the various dust covered
boxes piled... I mean organized... hither and yon... what's this?

An odd shaped box with an open top. Peering therein...

EUREKA!!!

I have found my long lost electricals that I had salvaged from my previous
HO layout some years ago! This means oodles and gobs of rotaries, toggles,
and other desireable odds and ends, to begin the process of getting my S
scale layout powered up and going.

I'm a happy camper.

Of course... this discovery also begs the question of "now what"? Do I
continue working on my Baldwins? Should go ahead and detail and paint a KCT
NW-2? Work on the layout? My, my. Decisions, decisions.

Ah, life is good.
