Hi all,
I might have asked a long time ago on the list if anyone has a set of
Overland Alco FA-2's that they've removed one pair of the two (erroneous second
set underneath side)cast builder's plates and has laying around in their parts
box?
I don't know what Overland was thinking but the second location ahead of the
fuel tanks was the location normally used for the trust plates. The only
location for builder's plates was on the lower side of the cab area just ahead
of the cab ladders.
My plan is to make a mold from one of these and cast them up in resin. I
know Micro Scale's decal sheet has the EMD and Alco plates but being flat (OK
for the EMD)I'd prefer the 3D of the castings.
