Ed L.,

The American Flyer S Gaugers in the St. Louis Area have been running a number
of passenger trains in the Famous-Barr (now Macy's) window at Christmas time
for 23 years. These cars have had problems with the axles wearing the bearing
holes into slots. They are run from 9AM till 9PM 7 days a week with only the
engines being switched out about mid-day. Ron Bashista has been very helpful
with the truck replacement by our maintenance expert, Norm Pilarski. These
trains are run between Thanksgiving and 31 December.

Regards,

Jim Bresnahan
