I would have to say "no", for the most part. these guys critique things that 
nobody would notice if the trains were actually running on a layout.

I remember an article on (forgot his name)'s VIRGINIAN & OHIO. In the heat of 
operations, nobody noticed missing grab irons and other details on many of the 
V&O "F" units, etc. 

I think that is where the term "good enough" was coined, and I have employed it 
extensively to get SHABBONA up and running. My stuff doesn't sit still long 
enough for anyone to assault it with a Walther's nit-picker.

My project to consider next? I've already installed brass inserts and blunt end 
wheelsets in one AM passenger truck, and from what I've been reading, the rest 
of them on SHABBONA RR will soon get the same treatment
