Bill: I would have to say "no", for the most part. these guys critique things that nobody would notice if the trains were actually running on a layout.
I remember an article on (forgot his name)'s VIRGINIAN & OHIO. In the heat of operations, nobody noticed missing grab irons and other details on many of the V&O "F" units, etc. I think that is where the term "good enough" was coined, and I have employed it extensively to get SHABBONA up and running. My stuff doesn't sit still long enough for anyone to assault it with a Walther's nit-picker. My project to consider next?
